Delete your Voltlingo account

You can request deletion of your Voltlingo account and the personal data we store for you. This page explains how.
How to request deletion
- Sign in to Voltlingo with the Google account you want removed.
- Email info@voltlingo.com from the same email address with the subject line “Voltlingo account deletion request”.
- We will confirm your identity and delete your account within 30 days.
Data that will be deleted
- Firebase Authentication record (Google sign-in link)
- Firestore user profile: email, display name, photo URL
- Learning progress: XP, streak, hearts, mastery, achievements, unit completion
- Leaderboard entry tied to your account
- PRO status and subscription references stored in Voltlingo (e.g.
proActive, Lemon Squeezy customer IDs)
Data that may be kept
- Billing records held by our payment partner Lemon Squeezy (invoices, tax, fraud prevention) — retained as required by law and their policies.
- Server logs (security, abuse prevention) — typically retained up to 90 days, then deleted or anonymized.
Local data on your device
To clear progress stored only on your device, open Voltlingo → Profile
→ sign out. You can also clear site data for voltlingo.com in your browser
or app settings.
Active subscriptions
If you have an active PRO subscription, cancel it first from Profile → Subscription (or contact us). Deleting your Voltlingo account does not automatically cancel billing with Lemon Squeezy.
